Hello! My name is Josefin Azzam, but I go by Josie.
I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and even stuck around long enough
to receive my BFA in Film and New Media at the University of Nebraska’s
Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film.
I then moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to attend USC’s School of Cinematic Arts
to earn an MFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Editing.
I graduated, despite several Critical Studies classes, in the spring of 2012.
I am a skilled editor and have worked in both documentary and fiction.
I am interested in all genres and formats, especially anything with really
good child actors. I pride myself on being organized, enthusiastic
and highly dedicated to my work.
I love British period pieces, karaoke and Pinterest-worthy crafts.
I’ve always got a podcast recommendation and will gladly
mock draft book-to-movie adaptations with you.
