About

Hello! My name is Josefin Fatima Azzam. I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and even stuck around long enough to receive my BFA in Film and New Media at the University of Nebraska’s Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film.

I then worked as a full time editor of television documentaries at PBS affiliate NET Television before moving to Los Angeles to attend The University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts to earn a MFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Editing. I expect to graduate in Spring of 2012, but currently enjoy cutting other student’s projects!

I am a career editor, with no interest in anything else! I also work as an Avid Tech at the Cinema School.

Things I like:

  • Old Library Books
    • For their Velveteen Rabbit qualities and tiny typeface.
  • The Griddle
    • VIP Status from biweekly gorging on French Toast and Bloody Marys.
  • My Disneyland Annual Pass
    • 15 hours and 10 Fastpasses later, all your problems are solved.
  • Karaoke
    • I do a mean rendition of “Proud Mary”.
